Objectives:

After completing reading in the manual, online module, and class activities, the student will in class:
- List basic plant functions
- Identify plant organs and a purpose of each
- Use proper botanical nomenclature
- Identify a plant response to an environmental condition
- Create a foundation in plant sciences in which to build upon in future lectures
