Looking for a better way to accommodate language needs?
• The Office of Access, Inclusion, and Compliance (OAIC) provides rental interpretation equipment for use with interpreters for in-person programming and events.
• OAIC has two sets of equipment, for pick-up in Madison, which contain the following: three transmitters, 24 receivers, a user manual, and signage to use during programs and events.
• External organizations can rent the equipment for $50.00 per day plus shipping. There is no shipping charge if the equipment is picked up and dropped off with OAIC staff.
• Reservations for equipment must be made three weeks in advance to ensure its availability, and to work out any necessary logistical detail. To request the equipment and confirm its availability, email: oaic@extension.wisc.edu.
• Educator and/or interpreter training on equipment use is available upon request.
Equipment must be returned in the condition it was provided.
