2024 JCEP Conference Call For Proposals
The JCEP (Joint Council of Extension Professionals) Speaker and Presentation Committee would like to invite all of our colleagues to consider submitting a presentation proposal (Poster and Concurrent Sessions) for the great work that you have been doing for this years conference. JCEP Conference is on April 23rd-24th, 2024 at Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids. The theme is People, Purpose, & Passion: The Pathway to Success. Presentation proposals are due by February 12, 2024 and decisions will be made in early March.
Proposals should complement JCEP objectives and the 2024 JCEP WI Conference theme:
● To provide professional and personal development opportunities
● To recognize and learn from the accomplishments of others
● To strengthen the coalition of associations and increase the understanding of JCEP
● To encourage membership in the associations by providing time for meeting, planning, and networking
● To strengthen and encourage collaboration and relationship-building
● Enhancing the theme of People, Purpose, and Passion: The Pathway to Success
In addition to concurrent sessions, there will be a Poster Session. The poster session format is designed to provide concise information and allow an opportunity for interaction between creator and participant.
Retiree Tract– This year we will be also offering concurrent sessions. Current employees whose programs may interest retirees can submit proposals and retirees can submit proposals on topics they want to share with other retirees.
Selection Criteria
● Relationship of the content to JCEP objectives and the 2024 JCEP WI Conference theme
● Relevance and timeliness of the proposed topic(s)
● Appeal to several members and/or associations
● The need for a balance of content and/or association representation within and among the sessions
All proposals should be submitted using Google Form:
