More Iowa County service projects

The Five Point 4-H Club completed the following service activities in 2013:

  • Participated in the 4-H county wide Food Fight
  • Worked a rest stop for the Iowa County Humane Society Quadrapedal
  • Ran the Sundae stand at the Farmer’s Appreciation Day Event
  • Did caroling at the area senior care, assisted living and nursing homes in December
  • Adopted-a-Family with Social Services

And the Cobb Busy Badgers 4-H club is no less accomplished:

“The Cobb Busy Badgers 4-H Club believes in helping our local community.  For a number of years now, we have volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Pantry, purchased gifts for a family in the Iowa County Adopt-a-family at Christmastime, played BINGO at Bloomfield Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, and raked leaves for elderly citizens in Cobb.  We also regularly help the Cobb Public Library by purchasing supplies for them and teaching a June Dairy Month activity about Wisconsin’s Dairy industry to the Story Hour children. The Cobb Busy Badgers enjoy helping others to make our community a better place to live.”
