On August 27, the 165th Walworth County Fair kicked off with a ceremony recognizing the Wisconsin 4-H Centennial. It was a truly wonderful event, thank you to everyone who planned, participated and made it such a success!

At the Brown County Fair last week, Brown County 4-H celebrated the centennial in a few magical ways, including hosting an open house with interactive displays and donating nearly 3,000 cans of vegetables to food pantries around Green Bay.

Thousands of Wisconsin State Fair guests visited the Central Park to experience hands-on 4-H and UW-Extension activities and celebrate 100 years of growing Wisconsin leaders!

Douglas County 4-H planted a commemorative Centennial tree outside the Douglas County Courthouse on June 19. They also displayed project work, had interactive STEM table displays and other displays and served more than 150 ice cream sundaes to county board members, Extension committee members, courthouse employees and the public. Just think about what that tree–and the 4-H program!–will look like in another 100 years!
